About Kat Shaw
As an activist artist, Kat prides herself on dismantling the patriarchy, breaking society’s stereotypical views of beauty and challenging every negative paradigm that women have been drip fed since birth, instead, encouraging them to step into unapologetic empowerment.
Having made her name painting the glorious nude reality that is a woman’s body, self-worth, self-love and self-belief are at the centre of her art, rather than airbrushing, filtering, photoshopping and the “only one size fits all” approach to beauty.
Glorifying every single body shape, Kat challenges the images of perfection of the female form that are so rife in today’s culture.
Over the last 7 years, Kat has painted over 3000 glorious women into Goddesses, held many successful exhibitions and live shows, run enriching workshops and paints not only onto canvases, but also directly onto women’s bodies!
After graduating with a fine art degree, Kat became a teacher for over 17 years, but lost her teaching career in 2024 due to her online presence and refusing to hide her mission of world domination by empowering as many women as possible to reach their fullest potential and embrace their bodies by loving themselves wholeheartedly. She is now even more fiercely following this path and advocating for women full time!
As a Priestess of Avalon and of Magdalene Rose lineage as well as a devotee and Priestess of Kali, and a Sister of Rhiannon, Kat works directly with her Goddess consciousness, connecting to Goddess and Priestess energy and translating it into Divine Feminine-infused paintings to inspire women and spread Goddess love.
Aside from this, Reiki is a huge part of her life and as a Reiki Master, Kat is committed to sharing Reiki, teaching Usui, Angelic and Karuna Reiki, and channelling Reiki energy through her artwork to uplift and heal.
She is also a fierce feminist, pole dancer, animal communicator, belly dancer, mum to a gorgeous adult daughter, and an avid pioneer for improving the lives of rescue animals.

Woman of the Year 2021
