I’ve been putting this post off… And it’s no

I’ve been putting this post off…
And it’s not pleasant reading…
I am struggling to find the words.
Since I was made aware of this news, I have stuck my head in the sand and ignored it.
But it hasn’t gone away.
These last few months have hit HARD.
And the hits just keep on coming!
I lost my teaching career.
I lost my main art page with 60k followers.
And now it’s been made impossible to continue to send my artwork to Northern Ireland and Europe.
The LAST DAY I will be able to take orders and post to EU and NI is 9th December.
From that day, there will no longer be the option on my pages.
My heart continues to shed tears…
As a lot of my magic goes to those places.
BUT…
I’ve never just laid down and submitted.
And nor have my other artist friends.
We will find a way at some point…
I MASSIVELY APPRECIATE ALL YOUR ORDERS FROM EVERYWHERE.
I MASSIVELY APPRECIATE MY NI AND EU CREW.
And I apologise for the mess of this world.

Stock up in the next week as the future is murky….

The internet is trying to silence us.
The internet is trying to make us small.
The internet is trying to tell us we must all look the same.
The internet is not supporting equality.

We will find a way.
But for now…
Let’s make the most out of the potential of passage to EU and NI…

You won’t find the real of love in any goal achieved.
Your life accomplishments will never scratch that itch.
You won’t find this kind of love in talk therapy.
Or self help books.
You cant heal yourself into it.
You can’t improve yourself towards it.

Real Self Love is not an opinion of yourself.

You are amazing.
You are a failure.
You are good.
You are terrible.

All of these statements will always be true.

There is no way out of this game.

But self Love..... True Self Love is not an opinion.

It is a state of being.

It is unconditional.

It is deeper and beyond these many images of You.

To love yourself you must fall on your knees and worship this skin which you live inside.

This blood and flesh and bone which is filled only with You.

You must caress and squeeze and hold this body.
You must make love to this body like it is the body of your Beloved.

You must stroke every last bit.
With the tender presence of one who is truly listening.
Who is available to give everything in senseless devotion.

You must be total in this touch.
Completely mad in your absurd passion.
Foolishly pouring yourself into every nook and cranny.
Rolling on the ground like the love sick hungry soul that you are.
Writhing in pleasure.
Honest in your meeting.
In your grieving.
In your longing.
In your giving.

Don’t try to make the body feel a certain way.
Release your agenda.
And just meet.
Meet this body in presence.
Touch.
Touch.
Touch this body with all that you are and all that you have to give.

Eventually your self consciousness will break open.
You will feel the depth of your loving.
As honest and simple.
As innocent and true.
As that which was already here all along.

The lover and the one being Loved.
Becoming One.

Touch this body.
Caress this place where you and only you reside.

If you want to Love yourself.
Really REALLY love yourself.

Devote to loving this body.

The rest will take care of itself.

So this is the thing with my art...
The shock isn’t the flesh that’s on show...
The shock isn’t the rolls and undulations...
The shock isn’t the breasts that aren’t always pert...
The shock isn’t the sag, scars or stretch marks...
The shock is the realisation that un-airbrushed and un-photoshopped bodies are so rarely seen in society.
The shock is that - wow... that’s a body that looks like mine. That is reality.
The shock is that - wow, maybe I’m not so bad after all... maybe I’m not the only one with this body.
The shock is that - wow, maybe this unobtainable ideal of how a woman should look is all a load of bollocks...
The shock is that my art is honest.
And my art is beautiful.
Because REAL bodies are beautiful.

Sadly, the shock is also that a woman cannot be free and liberated in her flesh without blurring or hiding it due to the internally of society.

POLE TODAY. I felt sooooooooo ill. I think I have

POLE TODAY.
I felt sooooooooo ill.
I think I have flu.
But I wanted to have a reason to get out of bed.
Plus I had a new vinted leotard.
For those who have followed my journey, you’ll know that my £1 black vinted leotard had become an obsession.
So I bought another one - splashed the cash, this one was £2.
However, it showed up under boob sweat patches and my n……s showed through as it is very thin.
So not really a success.
This was as far as I got today.
1 sit.
But I hung out with my people, in between shivering, sniffing and coughing, in my oodie and watched.
Pole saves my mental health every single time.
Regardless of the judgement of other people, pole saved and saves me.
My body is stronger and my mental health is happier with this amazing tribe of people.
The leotard was NOT a success.
The lesson was NOT a success.
But I need this as much as I need breath.

Thank you @apollo_anderson_ for an amazing lesson. I’m pretty pissed as all of those moves today were MY TYPE OF MOVES…

Emotional post coming up…
You may have noticed that I haven’t posted that much lately…
There are various reasons…
1) I feel like I’m losing the battle. The scales are tipping in the opposite direction. No matter how loud my voice is, it gets silenced.
2) Every single time I post a painting with the n…..s blurred, my heart and my soul break a little bit more. This is the way that society makes you conform and stay small.
3) I’m struggling with my morals… people (and generally ones that don’t always comment positively!) are quick to say I’ve “sold out” by starting to blur. The fact is this - I need to pay my rent. I need my platform. I wonder if the moaning people know how that feels? This is reality. If selling out means keeping a roof over my head, then I have to do that for my daughter.
4) I also need my people. My tribe. And my souls work is to empower women. Without a platform, I cannot do that. I do not like rules and compromising my beliefs, and it’s making my prickly that I have to do this daily.
5) I feel so disheartened by losing my other page that took me over 6 years to build up and it’s hard to come back from that. Sometimes always bouncing back takes its toll.
6) I am broken as to how many women rip other women down. Sometimes I think it would be easier to live in a blinkered patriarchal structure, because when you take the blinkers off and see how broken the world is, it hurts like f**k.
7) I found out a few days ago that customs are changing, and as of 16th dec, I can’t send anything to EU and Northern Ireland.
8)I’ve also got flu, so have been in bed since my birthday (which was amazing!!!)
