The Unseen Exhibition
The globally renowned photographer and director Rankin was lucky enough to showcase a painting from Kat Shaw Artist in his curated exhibition, 'The Unseen', in June 2002. Rankin is famous for photographing the big names of the age, from Madonna to Queen Elizabeth II.
Held at the digital-first Quantus Gallery in Shoreditch, The Unseen exhibition aimed to re-platform those who have been unfairly censored for their artwork. It brought together artists whose voices had been and are still being shut down through social media due to the restrictive nature of the patriarchal society that we live in.
