Uprising Exhibition

UPRISING - AN EXHIBITION TO CLAIM BACK OUR FIRE AND RISE FROM THE FLAMES.

Women gathered from all around the world to witness 101 paintings of women who had committed to step from the flames that burned them and use the ashes to dance fiercely into empowerment, authenticity, and the reclamation of their bodies, voices and choices. They volunteered their bodies to be painted, and the results were a deeply sacred, powerful exhibition on International Women’s Day 2026 at Trestle Arts Base, St. Albans, Herts.
